GRITINAI 2025 YEAR-IN REVIEW: BUILDING TALENT, COMMUNITY,AND IMPACT
The past year 2025, was a period of both profound challenge and remarkable achievement for GritinAI. We began to the year 2025, focused constraints, our team delivered outstanding results.
For 2025, GritinAI successfully matured it's business by strategically focusing on four distinct service lines. AI Training, AI Consultation, Custom AI Solutions, and Research as a service.
The AI training service remains one of GritinAI's most impactful pillars in 2025, advancing our mission to bridge the technical skill gap and empower Africans with practical Artificial intelligence and Data Science Knowledge. This year, we solidified our position as a leading provider of AI education and capacity development by designing and delivering programs that catered to students, professionals, government officials, and youth communities across multiple institutions.
We successfully ran two major Cohorts (5&6) of our flagship Data Analysis Program. The 4th cohort held at the Opolo Innovation Hub, UNIBEN, from January 26th which had 10 participants. The 6th Cohort was held virtually from October 20th to December 14th, with 20 Students. The Cohort was divided into two classes:Weekday Classes following our conventional schedules and Weekend classes to accommodate Working-class participants. GritinAI expanded it's offering into contract training developing a curriculum tailored for a specific audience.
Our pilot contract training, as a training partner for the Impact Training Program organised by Opolo Innovation Hub BOI-UNIBEN in march 2025, positioned GritinAI as a credible capacity-building partner for public institutions and private organisation seeking digital transportation training for their teams.
From 1st-4th September 2025, GritinAI made a strong international appearance at GITEX 2025, engaging with global innovators, emerging technologies, and strategic partners. This experience reinforced our commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancement
Shortly after, 26th-27th September, we hosted the GritinAI conference Benin 1.0, a landmark event that brought together 200 Researchers, Industry Leaders, and Policy Makers to discuss the Future of responsible AI development. The event, hosted at gritinaiconnect.gritinai.com, successfully positioned GritinAI at the centre of the regional innovation dialogue.
The month of October was dedicated to intensive learning and capacity building. We successfully ran the 100 Days of code challenge, encouraging consistency, problem-solving, and hands-on experience among participants.
In the same month, we launched Data Analysis cohort 6, continuing our tradition of training aspiring data analysts with practical, industry-relevant skills and mentorship designed to prepare them for real-world challenges.
The month of December was indeed packed with exciting experience not just because of the season but because of on the 11th of December, GritinAI participated in Devfest Benin 2025, connecting with the broader tech community and contributing to discussion around emerging trends and developer growth.
To celebrate learning and community spirit, we hosted the Data Science Quiz-christmas Edition on 19th December, combining fun, competition, and knowledge reinforcement for data enthusiasts.
We round off for the year on the 20th of December 2025 with a powerful Webinar titled “Data Analysts as Nation Builders”, a cohort 6 special webinar series that featured direct insights from an industry expert. The session highlighted the role of data professionals in National development, Evidence-Based decision-making and policy implementation monitoring & adaptive Governance.
Looking Ahead
As we step into a new year, GritinAI is set to deepen it's impact through more structured learning, stronger community engagement, and future-focused programs. Building on the momentum of 2025, we are excited to announce the launch of an 8 week Data Analytics program cohort 7, scheduled to commence on the 23rd of February 2026.
This program is designed to equip participants with practical, in-demand data analytics skills, hands-on projects, and mentorship tailored to real-world applications and career growths
